   India-UK naval exercise Konkan-26 held off Plymouth with INS Trishul¹²

   INS Trishul took part in Konkan-26 with the Royal Navy from 8 to 15 October 2026, with a harbour phase at Plymouth and a sea phase off the southern English coast covering anti-surface and anti-submarine drills and weapon firings. The Ministry of Defence linked the exercise to the India-UK Vision 2035 partnership.

   INS Trishul joins 24th India-France naval exercise Varuna at Toulon³⁴

   The 24th edition of Varuna was held from 22 to 28 September 2026 off Toulon, France. INS Trishul exercised with the French destroyer Forbin, frigate La Fayette and nuclear attack submarine Suffren, with NH90 helicopters and Atlantique 2 aircraft. The crew laid a wreath at the Mazargues war memorial in Marseille for Indian soldiers of the World Wars.

   • Indian ship INS Trishul, Talwar-class frigate commissioned June 2003
