   Modi commissions INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak and INS Agray in Kolkata¹²³

   Commissioned by PM Modi on 21 June 2026 at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata. INS Dunagiri is the fifth Nilgiri-class (Project 17A) stealth frigate. INS Sanshodhak is a large hydrographic survey vessel.

   INS Dunagiri frigate and survey vessel Sanshodhak delivered by GRSE⁴⁵⁶⁷

   The Project 17A stealth frigate INS Dunagiri and the survey vessel INS Sanshodhak were delivered by GRSE on 30 March ahead of commissioning.

   • GRSE delivered INS Dunagiri, survey vessel Sanshodhak and an anti-submarine craft Agray to the Navy on 30 March 2026
   • Dunagiri: fifth Project 17A (Nilgiri-class) frigate and second built by GRSE
   • Sanshodhak: fourth and final large survey vessel of its class
   • Triple delivery took GRSE to 118 warships built; all three commissioned on 21 June 2026
