   BRICS leaders adopted the New Delhi Declaration by consensus at the 18th summit at Bharat Mandapam on 12 September 2026 after Iran and the UAE bridged differences over West Asia. The roughly 140-point text backs India and Brazil for bigger roles at the UN.
